Daniel Mitchell and Steven Estin did the homework (and more) to show how current Keynesian approaches (i.e., the Bailouts) will leave us no better off than when these approaches were tried before under Democratic presidencies, and especially (and most recently) Japan.  Their Keynesian experiment of the last several years has left their economy in a very dark tunnel, and I hope we stop imitating them real soon.
